Casadei Foods Partners With Grubby to Bring Our Plant-Based Italian Food Into UK Homes

We’re delighted to announce a new partnership between Casadei Foods and Grubby, bringing our plant-based Italian food to a whole new audience across the UK.

From September 2026, Casadei Foods products are featuring in Grubby’s plant-based recipe kits, giving their customers the opportunity to discover and cook with our products at home.

For a company that started out making products primarily for chefs and restaurants, it’s another exciting step in our journey.

From Restaurant Kitchens to Grubby Customers

When we started Casadei Foods, our focus was foodservice.

We wanted to create premium plant-based Italian products that chefs would genuinely want to use.

That meant flavour was only part of the challenge. Our products also needed to deliver the texture, consistency and performance required in a busy professional kitchen.

Restaurants remain at the heart of what we do, but as Casadei Foods has grown, our products have started finding their way into more places.

Today we supply restaurants, distributors and retailers, as well as selling directly to customers through our website.

Our partnership with Grubby gives us something different again: the opportunity to introduce Casadei Foods to Grubby’s customers through their vegan and plant-based recipe kits.

Three Independent Food Brands Coming Together

What makes this launch even more exciting is that we're also featuring alongside Dough Boys Pizza on the new Grubbys Pizza Kits.

It brings together three independent food brands, each contributing something different to the final meal.

We love collaborations like this.

Not only do they create something new for customers, they allow independent food businesses to introduce what they do to completely new audiences.

Award-Winning Plant-Based Italian Food

The partnership comes at an exciting time for Casadei Foods.

Earlier this year, two of our plant-based cheeses were recognised at the Great Taste Awards 2026.

Our Plant-Based Stracciatella received a 2-Star Great Taste Award, with judges describing the taste as:

“Absolutely magnificent.”

Our Plant-Based Mozzarella also received a 1-Star Great Taste Award.

Both products are completely vegan and dairy-free.

For us, those awards represent exactly what we're trying to achieve: making plant-based and vegan food that deserves to be judged simply as great food.

And now, through our partnership with Grubby, even more people have the opportunity to try what we're making.

From Our Little Factory in Camden to Kitchens Across the UK

Someone who may never have heard of Casadei Foods can order a Grubby box, cook dinner at home and end up eating something made by our team in our little factory in Camden.

We started out making products for restaurants.
